Jeremy Dubow will be exhibiting new work at the North Bank Artists Gallery as part of their March New Real group show. The exhibit explores the artists’ movement gaining ground in the Portland-Vancouver area. The movement, often credited to the Grand Central Academy of Art New York, and artist Jacob Collins, supports the renewal of academy and atelier style training for contemporary artists. This training involves a specific set of learned drawing skills taught in a methodical way. It requires observations from life instead of from photographs. Juliette Aristides pioneered classical atelier training in Seattle at the Seattle Academy of Fine Art which is now Gage Academy.

Artists include: Eduardo Fernandez, Jeremy Dubow, Julie Ann Smith, Rachel Aponte, and Bret Burton.

Artists’ Panel Discussion with questions & answers: Saturday, March 9, 2pm
