Day 3 of 3-Day Portrait

3-Day Portrait: Day 3

Monday was the third session of the 3-day pose in my portrait painting class at the Multnomah Arts Center. On day 2, I refined the drawing, making adjustments to the gesture of the pose, the tilt of the head, and the shadow shapes.

On day 3 I further refined all the shapes moving closer to a likeness of the model. I used mostly Transparent Iron Oxide Orange, Indian Red, Ivory Black, and Titanium White. The background is a mixture of Sap Green and Alizarin Crimson.
